@ Lou
I really try hahaha! You should see me snowboard! When I try to jump... it's like the definition of insanity: doing the same thing over and over again, expecting a different result... but I keep on smiling. I don't take myself too seriously. My main goal of every day is to have FUN!.

@ Bryan
I hear you! I don't drive a car [or anything with a motor in/ on it] so I have been using the bike as my primary form of transportation... Keeping things green/ blue :)

@ Graham
Thanks for the compliment!
Hope you recovered from 'the helicopter trip!'.
I so understand the whole 'laughing' from shock/ pain and because something is just too stupid/ funny...
How is your shoulder now??

Firstly, can I just say what an amazing blog you have here! Secondly, congratulations on braving the ride... it sounds painful! I fell 90ft over the edge of a quarry whilst walking in some hills about 18 months ago, and ended up being rescued by helicopter and eventually having my shoulder replaced. The ironic things is, when I landed at the bottom of the quarry, I stood up and started laughing (partly out of shock and pain, but also partly because it was so bloody funny!!!!).

What would this world be like, if we didn't laugh at ourselves when we fall over!

I agree with Lou, you have a wonderful philosophy going on there. I'll be back to read more of your great posts!!!

Kindest regards ~ Graham

Haha, word. When you fall down you have to just laugh about it, dust yourself off, and get right back at it.

If you aren't falling than you aren't riding right?

So many people do fun things but don't have fun...it doesn't make any sense. You've got a good philosophy going there.

But exactly!

When I started snowboarding it was a backcountry rodeo gig we did to and from the ski slopes. The whole point was to wipe out with a smile.

Anyway, I love my bike. I commute on it.
